Getting yourself outside is so beneficial in so many ways! Simply stepping your bare feet in the grass, being around trees & breathing in fresh air is an excellent way to reduce stress, add Yoga into that mix... and you're set!
Please join us as we kick off our Sunday outdoor Yoga class
on Sunday June 20th
We will meet at Downward Dog Yoga 115 5th Street at 9am
We have a 10 minute walk to our park where we will practice Yoga,
we have plenty of grass, trees and fresh air!
You may bring a yoga mat if you'd like
Sunblock & bug spray is recommended
In Celebration of the Summer Solstice,
we will have a reception at Downward Dog Yoga
immediately following the Yoga class, please sign up in advance
Arm Balancing workshop for everyone! You don't have to be able to stand on your hands! This workshop is offered in-studio and through Zoom. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Zoom link. Vinyasa Flow workshop with emphasis on preps for arm balancing postures in a healthy, safe and effective way.
In this workshop, we will practice the technique of finding your best Childs Pose, Balasana. This is a very challenging posture to master and takes years of practice. We need to make sure we are very mindful when practicing this posture and not to take it too far. Find just the right amount of effort & ease. If it becomes too intense, please make sure you take a break and listen to your body. This is an advanced workshop and previous yoga experience is required. namaste yogis
