Chakra Alignment workshop. Our Chakras are an energy system that flow from crown to tail. This workshop will practice postures associated with each of our 7 chakras, leaving you feeling relaxed, balanced and aligned. This workshop will explore and move through Asanas to help stretch and open up all the muscles around the hips. The hips connect the upper body to the lower body and become an area where we tend to 'store' a lot of tension, so this release is incredibly beneficial. We will practice safe preparations for sirsasana, headstand and other variations. This workshop is only offered in-studio. Fascia flossing with Matilda is back ! Whether you're new to the method or have enjoyed this workshop before, we invite you to (re)discover fascia flossing, an innovative method that revitalizes the fasciaβthe connective tissue that envelops the entire bodyβto enhance your overall health. By combining movements that elongate the targeted muscle with movements that engage the targeted muscle, this practice helps release energetic blockages, stimulate the lymphatic system, and boost immunity.
This 1-hour workshop will begin with an introduction to the essential role of fascia and the benefits of stimulating it, inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine. We will then βflossβ both the upper and lower body, adding Pilates-inspired exercises to foster a deeper connection to the body in a fluid and more familiar way. A dynamic sequence will follow, incorporating each of the fascia flosses covered during the previous section to amplify the practice's impact.

In this workshop, we will practice the technique of finding your best Childs Pose, Balasana. This is a very challenging posture to master and takes years of practice. We need to make sure we are very mindful when practicing this posture and not to take it too far. Find just the right amount of effort & ease. If it becomes too intense, please make sure you take a break and listen to your body. This is an advanced workshop and previous yoga experience is required. namaste yogis
